Following the quick and early spread of COVID-19 in Italy, one in five Jewish families could not pay for food, their rent or mortgage payments. Former Israeli emissaries to Italy together with the Spirit of Israel, the Italian Jewish community and the Jewish Agency ran a successful crowdfunding campaign to assist Italy’s Jewish community in their time of need.
